It's very important to us that you enjoy your stay.  Please read the following before  booking. These are the answers to the most frequently asked questions. If  we don’t offer the facilities you require, then please try or for other B&Bs in the area .

Is Seafield House a Bed & Breakfast (B&B) or a hotel?

Although websites like Trip Advisor describe a B&B as a hotel, B&Bs in the Scotland are different from hotels. The main difference is that you are staying in our family home and the experience is more informal and sociable than staying in a larger guesthouse or a hotel.  We run our B&B, do most of the work ourselves and live in the house.  Our check-in is between 16.00 and 18.00 (unless by prior arrangement). We also sometimes have arrangements in the evenings making it impossible for us to offer a late check-in . We don’t have a guest lounge. Our bedrooms are all equipped with TV, chairs, tea and coffee making facilities. We also have  large selection of literature about Scotland for you to read. You're  welcome to use our garden and decking area – it’s nice to sit on the decking and enjoy the view.

What are your breakfast arrangements?

Our B&B has up to 5 guests staying at any one time in the house. Our dining room has a large table for 6 people. This means that you will share the table with other guests. We introduce guests to one another and we encourage people to enjoy the ceilidh. We find that most guests value this as part of the experience staying with us.

Do you take pets or children?

We are a small B&B and have to consider other guests and we therefore don't take pets or children. However one of our daughters has a small dog and they often visit us. We also have young grandchildren who also visit and can be found around the house and in the garden.

Do you have private car parking ?

Yes, we have gravelled parking immediately adjacent to the house.

Do you accept debit/credit cards?

Yes we accept all commonly used cards except American Express

Where exactly is Seafield House located?

Seafield House is located in a quiet cul de sac with magnificent views of Loch Linnhe, hills, glens and crofts of Ardgour. It is under 1 mile from the West End roundabout which is the start of  Fort William High Street. It is a flat walk by the shore of Loch Linnhe until you turn into Seafield Gardens where the road climbs approximately 100 feet.  This provides the outstanding views over the houses of Achintore Road and across Loch Linnhe to Ardgour.
