We support "Friends of Nevis" which is a community based conservation charity. It aims to

preserve, protect and support iconic Ben Nevis and surrounding area.

We care about our environment.

From solar panels to encouraging wild flowers to grow in our garden, we do our best to work in an ecological manner.

On your visit if you have any suggestions for new things that we can do or improve, we would be grateful to hear them.

At Seafield House we are proud of our culture and heritage. We have many books for the use of our guests about the languages, mountains, walks, history and nature of Scotland.

Ian Chrichton Smith wrote about Sorley MacLean's poetry:

" ..... Thig thigainn, cò' ruinn gu siar                               " ...Come along and join us in the west

Gus an cluinn sinn ann cànan nan Gàidheal ....... "      So that we will hear the language of the Gael"

from Canan nan Gaidheal by Murdo MacFarlane

"Come along and join us, we would love to meet you"    Fiona and Drew
